Inspiration
Ascension
Ascension is inspired by Fritz Lang’s film “Metropolis”, a tale of a machine woman.
Various elements inspired the 1st-semester project “Skirt”. It was very experimental, using multiple supporting materials combined with muslin to create rough edges by applying origami techniques. An element was added to the skirt that resembles a Lotus Flower, accompanied by a headpiece that resembles an ancient Egyptian crown.
